Home buyers start their search online, so first impression is critical. Follow these Home Prep tips to prepare for the best real estate photos possible.

Upon arrival, you can expect a quick walk-through with the photographer to make sure the home is photo ready. After that, they will photograph the interiors followed by exteriors and any requested neighborhood amenities.

Genaral

  • Vacuum, sweep, & mop all floors
  • Dust blinds & baseboards
  • Dust fan blades
  • Clean windows inside & out
  • Clean countertop
  • Turn off TVs & computer screens
  • Remove personal items/photos
  • Remove all visible clutter
  • Open shades/blinds
  • Replace burned out light bulbs
  • Empty waste baskets
  • Remove newspapers, mail
  • Display attractive books
  • Turn on all lamps & overhead lights

Exterior

  • Remove cars from driveway
  • Turn off sprinkler systems
